Geared for high school and AP level students, this free resource has online multimedia lessons. Choose topics or units, or follow an entire course. The courses include: US History I for AP, US History II for AP, US History I, and US History II. Ideal for high school homeschoolers, for interested younger homeschoolers to browse, and for homeschooling parents to brush up on facts they may have forgotten.
The courses do recommend the purchase of a textbook, but the online lesson include accompanying text that may be printed, and it's not clear to me if that is in addition to the textbook, or an alternative.
