Step Afrika! explores the history of stepping and the Great Migration through high energy stepping, body percussion and dance, including excerpts from their signature work, The Migration. Through movement and projections, the company brings to life the iconic paintings of Jacob Lawrence that chart the story of African Americans moving from the south to the north in the early 1900s.

This live concert explores musical selections and stories from many shows in which Broadway bucked the status quo, and through sheer entertainment, woke us up.
