A beautiful modern art museum next to the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden (home of the famous Spoonbridge and Cherry.)
The museum is free every Thursday night. On the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month, the museum hosts "Arty Pants", a special program for 3-5 year olds.
The museum has amazing architecture, but is not a convenient place to take a stroller. Fair warning: many sculptural pieces are not roped off.
