With over 12,000 square feet of antique radios, televisions, and broadcast equipment, the Museum's collection is one of the largest and finest of its kind in the world. Of course, hardware is only part of the story of broadcasting: it's the personalities who make this equipment come alive and and the museum preserving their history as well in the growing archives are the Pioneer Broadcaster.

The Broadcast Workshop: Live And On The Air
"Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. You are listening to the crystal clear sounds of KPAV!" So begins another radio show for another excited group of children who will learn the history of electronic communication while creating their own 1960s-style radio broadcasts and participating in a TV quiz show.
Cost per Child/Student: $5
Cost per Adult/Educator: free
Minimum Group Size: $50 or 10 children
Gathering Place Recommendations: There is plenty of room in the lobby to gather.
Target Grade Level: The Broadcast Workship is designed for upper elemetary aged children, but the museum staff will adapt the program to suit your group's needs.
Sibling Policy: The museum asks that younger children be closely watched so as to prevent accidental damage to the equipment on display.
Note: The Museum often conducts its Broadcast Workshops in conjunction with related workshops on electricity and magnetism at the nearby Bakken Museum, allowing students to participate in two unique field trip experiences in one day.
Parking Information: There is plenty of free parking in the lot on the south side of the building.
Driving Directions: The museum is located east of Hwy 100 and south Hwy 7, about a quarter mile from Bass Lake and Wolf Parks.

Take the County Rd 25 / Hwy 7 exit
