What if the rabbit hole Alice fell in was really a gopher hole? How about if Cinderella wore wooden shoes instead of glass slippers? In this class we will take traditional fairy tales and see what happens when we set them in Minnesota! Join us as we ask the question, "What happens next!?"
No previous experience required, but this class is perfect for anyone who has previously taken Telling Tales class and wants more!!
It’s Not Rocket Science - Theatre Arts Training (TAT)
What happens when science and theatre meet? Explore the inner workings of scientific principles like gravity, E=mc2, why the sky is blue and to other questions where your curiosity leads. Students will then create and perform their own stories of how these things came to be discovered.
No previous experience required, but this class is perfect for anyone who has previously taken an improv and wants more!!
Actor’s Toolbox - Theatre Arts Training (TAT)
This fun class is designed for both the new and the experienced actor. Develop your understanding of the craft of acting by experiencing a variety of acting styles and methods using improvisation, music and scenes from contemporary literature as inspiration to creativity.
No previous experience required, but this class is perfect for anyone who has previously taken an acting class and wants more!!

Movement for Actors - Theatre Arts Training
Use your body to tell a story! This class will show how actors use movement and dance to craft their tales!
No previous experience required, but this class is perfect for anyone who has previously taken a Acting or Dance Class!
Recommended for ages 6-14
Parents of children 5 years of age or younger must participate in class. Musical PlayLab - Theatre Arts Training (TAT)
Experience an authentic playwriting and songwriting process, from finding inspirational themes and characters from personal experience, all the way to creating a final draft to take home and a sharing of the piece for families. This class will also include plenty of movement and acting to help generate ideas, but is also ideal for kids who love to write or make up their own stories. The 4-week class will end with a final sharing (about 20 minutes) of the play we create.

Shoebox Set Design - Theatre Arts Training (TAT)
Design a shoebox set for a story of your choosing. We will experiment with lights and effects on a small scale just like professionals do. This class will include a backstage tour of ANNIE and of our scene shops. Perfect for someone who has taken an ONSTAGE class and wants more!
Recommended for ages 8-14. (Price includes a $2 supply fee).
Wild Things - Theatre Arts Training (TAT)
Have you ever felt like a Wild Thing? Using Maurice Sendak’s classic children’s story Where The Wild Things Are as a foundation, students will explore physical theatre and creative movement and create a WILD theatrical piece all their own! Perfect for anyone who has taken a Dance or Creative Storytelling and wants more! Recommended for ages 6-14.
Homeschool Open Gym
Oxford Community Center's FREE Homeschool Open Gym is offered most Wednesday from 12:30pm to 2:30pm for children of all ages in the company of a parent or guardian.
- Parents must supervise their children at all times
- Gym shoes are required for entry into the gymnasium (gym shoes must be worn by both children and adults).
Oxford Community Center is located just off Hwy 94 and Lexington. Plenty of free parking is available in the lot on site.
Ballet and Tap
Ballet/Tap: Tuesdays, 1:30pm - 3:00pm
Fall 1 session runs from September 7-October 19.
$117/session
Dance for children ages 7-9 or for those who have successfully completed the fundamental level.
Students will begin building strength, developing proper alignment, and a better understanding of basic dance elements.
All teaching is provided by our talented staff of degreed, professional instructors. Dancers in this program will have an informal showing at the end of each session.
