A state - wide Family Heritage Expo(TM) student project and presentation fair encourages homeschool students to challenge their abilities and training in music, arts, crafts, science and all academic areas. Special displays of student work and projects will be presented at the Expo.
How do I get to the Frederick County Fairgrounds?
The Frederick County Fairgrounds are located on Patrick Street, just minutes from Interstate I-70, in historic Frederick, Maryland.
From the Washington area and points South: Take I- 270 Northwest to Frederick. There is a new exit from 270 to I-70 East. You will pass the exit for Rt. 85. Watch for signs and exit onto I-70 just north of the Rt. 85 exit. Once on I-70 exit at the South Street exit and follow the signs to the fairgrounds.
From the Baltimore area and other points East:
Take I-70 West to Frederick. In Frederick, take the Patrick Street Exit and follow the signs to the fairgrounds.From Western Maryland:
Take I-70 East to Frederick. In Frederick, take the South Street exit and follow the signs to the fairgrounds.From Points North:
Take Rt. 15 South to Frederick. In Frederick, take the I-70 East exit. From I-70 take the South Street exit (just a short distance) and follow the signs to the fairgrounds.From Northern Virginia:
Take Rt. 15 North to Frederick. In Frederick, follow the signs to I-70 East to Baltimore. Travel a short distance to the South Street exit. Follow the signs to the fairground.What about parking?
Free parking will be available at the Fairgrounds.
What about lunch?
There will be a concessions stand at the Fair, where you can buy sandwiches and soft drinks. There are several fast-food restaurants within 1 mile of the Fairgrounds. There will be accommodations at the Fair for you to sit and enjoy your lunch with your family and friends. Bag lunches and drink coolers are welcome at the Fair.
What about small children?
Small children are welcome at the Fair. However, there will not be any special programs to entertain your children at the Curriculum Fair. If you bring your children, please be aware of their presence at the Fairgrounds. The vendors are glad to demonstrate their products to your children, but they appreciate it when Mom or Dad are nearby.
There will be a "HELP booth" available for people who need answers to home schooling questions.
The cost to attend the MACHE Curriculum Fair is as follows:
MACHE Members: FREE !!
Non-members: $5.00 per person, $10.00 per family
Free parking will be available at the Fairgrounds.

Payment is not due until the day of the fair ... and, you don't need to pre-register to attend the fair. Just bring your payment when you come.
