Description
Paper Making Class
Students learn the process of turning plants -- from papyrus to today's commercial wood pulp -- into paper. Using authentic Western papermaking tools, each student uses a mould and deckle to pull wet paper pulp to make two sheets of cotton paper.

Please note: In order for all of the children to get the most out of the class, younger siblings are not permitted. Parents with younger children are welcome to wait outside the classroom for the duration of the class.

If you opt to register for both classes being offered on this day, please plan to bring a lunch. We will have a 30-minute break between classes.

Please do not park in reserved spaces. Meters are available in the neighborhood, as well as pay parking lots. Handicapped parking is free seven days a week, in the Open Book lot, located near the front and rear entrances to the building.
