Home to Ballet of the Dolls, The Ritz Theater is located in the Northeast Minneapolis Arts District two blocks north of the intersection of University Ave NE and Broadway in Northeast Minneapolis.
The Ritz is a short walking distance of Metro Transit Routes 11 and 17W and the 824 Express.
Free Parking for The Ritz Theater Free parking is available after 6:00 PM directly across 13th Avenue in the Northeast Learning Center and 13th Avenue Municipal Parking Lots. Do not park in the alley adjacent to the Ritz Theater; you will be towed if you do.
In addition to Ballet of the Dolls, several other performance companies now consider the Ritz Theater home, using its affordable studio as a rehearsal and educational resource, and scheduling their performance season on the main stage.
