Description
Don your Dragoneer's Cloak and bring your personal Book of Spells to the Dragon's Lair at Como Conservatory where you'll have to use your wits, your wisdom and your powers of observation to decide which plants are the best candidates for treating maladies — and then test your hypothesis using that most magical of methodologies: the scientific method! The program will include an exploration of the riches of the rainforest and the importance of preserving these treasure troves of the world with their plants of great medicinal value, and of protecting the people who live there and preserving their knowledge of traditional medicinal practices.
Brigid asks that the kids read the following article before program:
This is a brand new program designed just for Dragon's Lair!
While not required, you are encouraged to plan to stay for another hour after our workshop to explore the Marjorie McNeely Conservatory and Tropical Encounters with your fellow dragoneers.
